What is a bookable? #
Bookalet was originally developed for holiday lets, but soon became used for all sorts of things that you can book on a nightly basis. So we now use the term ‘bookable’. A bookable is anything that you can ‘book’ such as your property, camper van, glamping pod etc.
How do I add a bookable? #
- Sign in to bookalet here using the username and password you set up when you registered.
- Click on the “Bookables” tab on the left hand side navigation bar and then click on “Add a bookable”.
You’ll then see the following screen:
3. Add the details for your bookable in the relevant boxes. Don’t worry about the reference number if you don’t have one. Also, if you are not registered for VAT you can leave this empty. Then click the “Save” button at the bottom of the page. You’ll then be shown a follow-on screen prompting you to add additional information for this property.
4. The menu on the right allows you to add more details about your bookable. This includes uploading documents to attach to emails, setting your cancellation terms and adding extras (like cots) to your listing.
Please note that the following video uses our old interface, so bookables is still labelled as ‘properties’ – but the process is still the same.
