Bookalet was originally developed for holiday lets, but soon became used for all sorts of things that you can book on a nightly basis. So we now use the term ‘bookable’ – a bookable is anything that you can ‘book’ such as your property, your camper van etc.
To add your bookable, first, using the username and password provided when you registered, login to the management console. Once logged in, click on the “Bookables” tab on the left hand side navigation bar and then click on “Add a bookable”.
You’ll then see the following screen:
Simply add the details for your bookable. Don’t worry about the reference number if you don’t have one. Also, if you are not registered for VAT, leave these fields empty. Then click the “Save” button at the bottom of the page. You’ll then be shown a follow-on screen asking you to add additional information for this property.
Using the menu to the right of the screen you can add more details about your bookable, including uploading documents to attach to emails and also setting your cancellation terms, but for now you have now added your bookable. Well done!
Please note that the following video uses our old interface, so bookables is still labelled as ‘properties’ – but the process is still the same.
