1. Llanberis, Wales


Experience the most scenic village in Wales by taking a road trip to Llanberis. Llanberis is a village at the foot of Snowdon, the highest mountain in Wales. Although it may be far too chilly to climb, the drive through Llanberis is breathtaking – especially If you are lucky enough to see the mountains covered in snow!



2. Bath, England

If you would prefer a city break, why not plan a visit to the Historic city of Bath? Just an hour and a half on the train from London, Bath has something for everyone. Take a visit to The Roman Baths or start your christmas shopping. 



3. Cambridge, England

Another city which makes a great winter city-break is Cambridge. Take a walk around the stunning colleges, or visit the mini winter wonderland, The North Pole at Parkers Piece! Be sure not to miss the Cambridge Botanic Gardens, which make a fantastic day out for all the family.



4. Edinburgh, Scotland

Take all of the family to Edinburgh Christmas Market, which opens at the end of November. Wrap up warm in a tartan scarf and grab a hot chocolate whilst you wander round the beautiful streets of this Scottish city.



5. The Cotswolds, England

You don’t get a place much prettier than the Cotswolds. This gorgeous place runs through five counties – Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire, Warwickshire, Wiltshire and Worcestershire. Book yourself into a cosy cottage and spend a weekend strolling through these perfect market towns. Finish the day off with a roast dinner in one of the many local pubs.
