How can I market my holiday let to couples?

Romantic holidays are a big market to get into. Taking a vacation together is important, it’s a step away from the stresses of day to day life. Giving couples a chance to rediscover one another. Whether they are looking at celebrating an anniversary or a birthday the idea would be to get away and spend this quality time together.

These events give you a great opportunity to grab their attention and promote the romantic benefits of your property.

How to achieve this
Make your holiday cottage/property look warm, cosy and romantic by highlighting some key features such as a fireplace or hot tub. To make this possible it is vital that you have eye-catching photos, I would recommend investing in a photographer. Below are some ideas of what you could offer.

Having a hot tub
If you do not have a hot tub at present, consider purchasing one. Having a hot tub is a great selling point for couples, I speak from experience, I personally look for accommodation with a hot tub. They are a great way for couples to relax and just spend quality time alone.

Romantic breakfast
Perhaps you offer a breakfast that is irresistible which could include champagne and orange juice? Or shaping your fried eggs in hearts, presenting the beans in a heart shaped bowl. There are a lot of heart shaped dishes/bowls out there.

Romantic hampers
For an additional fee you could have a very special hamper for them on arrival, making them feel extra special, especially if the occasion is an anniversary, items could include, chocolates, prosecco, bath oils or even some flowers. Make this an option when booking via your booking form.

Offer recommendations
If your holiday let does not have a restaurant on the premises, recommend a lovely, quaint restaurant in the area for them to dine in. Give them samples of menus or what to expect when dining there. Perhaps there is a spa nearby to get that back massage they deserve.

Reviews
Show off those reviews you received from previous couples who had a wonderful time at your property. Ask couples if they would mind having their photo next to their reviews.
